Summer nights and bbq’s - that’s what I love about the summer. You can have a few friends round maybe for a cheese and wine party to pass the time. It is easy and don’t take much of your time especially if you have a busy schedule. And what better way then to start the evening with a nice bottle of wine. Fine wine must be bought carefully. So here is a simple recipe on how to make your own sangria at home:

1. 1 litre rioja wine (Faustino is my preference).
2. Add 2 litre cloudy lemonade.
3. Add sugar to your preference.
4. Add some cut fruits like apples and lemons.
5. Add some ammareto and rum.
